The annual meeting covered activities from September 1, 2015 to August 31, 2016.

2016 proved to be an historic year. Not only did our community mark its 70th anniversary, we began a Local Area Planning (LAP) process to provide future guidelines in Montgomery Place for City of Saskatoon planners, we received National Historic Site designation from Parks Canada and the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada, the rink in Montgomery Park got a facelift, and after decades of requests – the City of Saskatoon agreed to lower our speed limit to 40 kph.

Around the community, the Arts Smarts program with artist Karly King at St. Dominic School was a great success. Landscape changes around Montgomery School, designed to improve drainage, were substantial. Following the first successful Montgomery Place-Cedar Villa volunteer clean-up in 2015, the Richard St. Barbe Baker Forest south of Chappell Yards enjoyed another major clean-up in the spring of 2016.
