Montgomery Place was featured on November 10 on CTV’s On the Block. Reporter Janella Hamilton interviewed staff and students in St. Dominic School about the Arts Smart program exploring the roots of Montgomery Place and the mosaics students created last spring. Janella also spoke with neighbourhood Olympian Margaret Tosh and with MPCA President Barb Biddle. Janella spoke with Jim Earle (second generation Montgomery resident) and his daughter Melanie Lynchuk (third generation resident). Julie Clark interviewed Barb Biddle, also Leslee Newman about the annual Remembrance Service at the cairn in Montgomery Park. To cap off the day of interviews, Jeff Rogstad spoke with Robbie Harder, a veteran of the Canadian Women’s Army Corps, who moved with her husband Al to their Montgomery home in 1958.
