News from St. Dominic School

Jennifer Millar, Principal, St. Dominic School

As you may have heard, we had a lot of excitement at our school to start the new year. On January 1, a sprinkler line broke causing extensive damage to one classroom, as well as some damage to other classrooms, storage areas, offices, the library, and the gym. Thanks to the quick action of the Fire Department and our school division, the water did not spread to the rest of the school. The repairs are going well and we expect the classrooms to be completed by mid-February. We would like to express our gratitude to our neighbor, Taya Raine, for reporting the flooding. We are very thankful that the damage was contained so quickly. Montgomery is such a fantastic community! Thank you for the inquiries about our school and have a wonderful 2018.
