Saskatoon resident Julia Adamson is championing the St. Barbe Baker Forest south of Montgomery Place.
She is a long-time, committed advocate of the forest. Julia writes that she is starting a charitable non-profit organization to support the Richard St. Barbe Baker Afforestation Area. She is seeking people who would be willing to become Directors of the organization.
The goals of the organization would be to advocate, protect and fundraise in order to support such things as signs, another parking lot and vehicle barriers.
Fundraising could include a Go Fund Me page and applying for grants.
