MPCA Communications Director Katie Rosen was invited by our City Consultant Shane Carter, to present at the May 11 IT Summit for CA Volunteers.

Katie’s workshop on how to set up and design a WordPress website was very well received. The goal was for participants to gain a better understanding of what WordPress is, how it works, and how to utilize it to build a website that is well organized, easy to navigate, and represents their community.

Many had brought their laptops with them and were able to make changes to their community’s website during the step by step demo section.

They were also very thankful for the detailed resource booklet that Katie had prepared for them to take home, and for the opportunity to meet with other Community Association Volunteers.
