Little Free Library on Lancaster Blvd.
In August 2015, the Hettinga family at 1114 Lancaster Boulevard made a Little Free Library for Montgomery Place neighbours, friends and residents. Free libraries work on the honour system. People borrow a book, and if possible, leave a book. Enjoy a good read thanks to the Montgomery Place Little Free Library in the boulevard on the northeast corner of Lancaster Boulevard and Caen Street.

Little Free Library on Simonds Ave.
When Sara Alton saw her first Little Free Library, she thought “That’s the best idea ever.” Wanting to share her love of reading with neighbours and the community, in 2020 she and her family made the Little Free Library at 1615 Simonds Avenue. Books have been flowing in and out of the library box ever since.
