What’s been happening this summer in Montgomery Place?
National Historic Site – Parks Canada and the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada have scheduled the plaque unveiling for Sunday, September 17 at 2 pm at the cairn in Montgomery Park.
Indoor Programs – Registration for Fall MPCA programs is September 6 from 6:30-8 pm in the St. Dominic gym. See the schedule of classes here.
Culverts – Over the summer, staff from Saskatoon Water have been surveying culverts in Montgomery Place.
Community Watch – Join our new Facebook group to post or find out about the latest lost and found items, pets, etc. in Montgomery Place.
Local Area Plan (LAP) – The Montgomery Place LAP is expected by the end of this year.
St. Barbe Baker Forest – MPCA President Barb Biddle attended a meeting on August 14 concerning the declaration of the afforestation area south of Montgomery Place as Municipal Reserve.
City Councillor – Hilary Gough reports that the roadwork originally scheduled for Montgomery Place this summer will not be done until next year.
Community Consultant – The City offers a Free Curbside Swap on Saturday, September 9.

Next Meeting – Our meeting schedule is changing from the second Tuesday to the first Tuesday of the month. The next meeting of the Montgomery Place Community Association is Tuesday, September 5, 7 pm in the Montgomery School Library.
